Next week, May 21st-22nd, 2016, I'll be attending the San Juan Bautista Rib Cook-Off!
The event is located on the historic streets of San Juan Bautista at 3rd St and Muckelmi, San Juan Bautista, CA 95045.
Seven teams from all over California, Oregon, and Nevada will compete for cash prizes as a panel of judges select the best ribs and sauces. Over 8,000 pounds of ribs grilled to perfection to compete for the "best ribs" and "best sauce" bragging rights. Join the fun and cast your vote on Saturday for the People's Choice Award.
There will be live entertainment, pony rides, art, and crafts (that's me!).
Official judging: Saturday at 3pm, winners will be announced Sunday at 1pm.
Admission is FREE.
Hours are Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-5pm.
Even if you don't want to participate in the event, I always love it when you stop by to say hi! It's truly the highlight of my day.
